TORRENER ACHE (Tennengau)


The crystal clear waters of the Torrener Ache meander through the Salzach valley, one of Austria’s most beautiful regions, surrounded by striking mountain ranges. At a length of 8 km, the river is truly a fly fisher’s dream. Slower sections, ideal for dry fly fishing, give way to deep pools where you can expect to land sizeable fish. The Torrener Ache is perfect for fly fishing - its distinctive character making it a jewel among Austria’s rivers. Its incredibly clear water makes sight fishing easy. The pristine Torrener Ache flows through a nature reserve.
